Shiloh Shootout Champions
Daniel Rankin & his 11U Mizuno Spikes opened up the fall this past weekend at Shiloh Park in Brandon, MS. They participated in the Grand Slam Shiloh Shootout. After falling short in their 1st pool game, they bounced back to win their second pool play game. They finished pool as the #2 seed. They opened up with the 12U Yazoo Xplosion & overcame a 4-1 deficit late to win 5-4. They carried that momentum into the championship & won by a score of 4-2. It was a great way to start the Mizuno era of the Golden Spikes. Way to go guys!
The Golden Spikes will hold a workout Sunday September 9th to select 12 13U players & 12 14U players to participate in two Perfect Game events. The events will be Sunday only in Birmingham, AL. The 14U events are September 23 & October 7. The 13U events are October 7/ & October 27/28. Call or text 601-917-3116 for more details.

Coach Clay Cooper & his 8U Spikes dominated the 8U travel ball scene this fall. They finished with a record of 20-0 & won tournaments in 3 states. Included in that was the 8U One Day Showdown hosted by Perfect Game in Atlanta.
The Spikes also captured the 8U USSSA Fall State Title.
This group will begin Spring play February 24th in Brandon in the Grand Slam Coaches Classic featuring Domingo Ayala.
